The Full Story
Our Program
I am very proud to say we breed ONLY ONE LITTER AT A TIME.
This means that every single puppy gets our full love and attention and that we know, and become very attached to every puppy born in our home. Every litter is a very big and exciting event for us!!
It also means I have fewer mommas, fewer litters, and fewer puppies to offer at a time so our waitlist might be a little longer - but that's OK with us, because we want to keep it small so we never feel too overwhelmed, lose the excitement, or run out of love for every dog and puppy in our program.
All of our dogs are genetically DNA health tested and OFA certified.
I chose sires directly dependent upon these tests.
Sires are chosen according to their compatibility with our females and my comfort and trust with their breeders. I am willing and have driven long distances for the correct breeding.
All puppies are snuggled and played with DAILY - all day long!
And are raised on the Empowered Badass Breeders Curriculum.
In addition to this I practice Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS**) on all puppies from age 3 days to 16 days. And at 3 weeks of age we welcome friends from all over and all ages to come meet them because well socialized puppies make the best family pets!
They are wormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, vet checked and will have their first set of puppy vaccines when they go to their new homes.

ENS
Early Neurological Stimulation
This is a series of 5 exercises done once a day on each individual puppy from 3 days to 16 days old. This is believed to be a time period of rapid neurological growth and development and this stimulation is designed to improve, among other things, their tolerance to stress and greater resistance to disease.

*Badass Breeder By Jeanette Forray
From 2 weeks to go home day we follow The Empowered Badass Breeder Curriculum, a program written by Jeanette Forray who breeds service doodles.
This program involves age appropriate socialization and exposure to a variety of sounds, smells, and surfaces to help them become more easily adaptable to whatever family life and adventures they embark on!

Go Home Day!
All of our puppies are bred to be healthy, happy, and friendly, but just like children they will each have their own personalities and quirks, this is one of the things I LOVE about Bernedoodles!
To help us recognize some of these individual, inborn characteristics, we do temperament testing at the suggested age of 7 weeks. And although we do not make any guarantees as to each individual personality, this test will help to identify pups who may tend to be a bit more shy, or outgoing, more confident or timid.
Many families choose to wait until after this test to pick their puppy, while other families fall in love at first sight and will choose to work with whatever temperament that puppy posses.
If you area undecided on what is most important to you and your family, I am more than happy to talk you through what different types of personalities might mean for training and life long companionship, but it is a personal decision and I leave that decision to each family.
